In most super markets they keep the vegetables at the entrance, Because Just the look gives a warm feel. What I saw in Reliance Fresh. Half rotten fruits and vegetables on 50% sale . Even a road side vendor will throw away those rotten stuffs! the moment you enter the shop you’ll also get a nice and strong stench of those rotten vegetables. That stench smelled very familiar to me. it was nothing but the smell of garbage bin outside vegetable market.
Some of the racks and containers or so unclean, which I dont even want to touch, There is a corner shop in our street, He'll have some vegetables on bin covered with a piece of jute sack . that looked more clean to me.
To compliment this they got some pathetic people to run the shop, One guy did not know how to swipe a debit card, Spencer's(Food world) is thousand times better!
Buy Vegetables/fruits from Local vendors/markets the'll have it fresh and at nominal price. Do not buy rotten stuff at inflated price from Reliance Rotten(Fresh)!
For groceries if you know things by Brand name, Call and make an order with Subiksha, They'll do a door delivery.
