I have been to reliance digital &(i store) branch as well last month.I went after seeing an advt in newspaper on apple products.I was interested in buyin ipod shuffle.So finally I bought one.
The bill said "We will be happy to replace or exchange any of the product you bought from reliance digi within 7 days of purchase subjected to following condition"
when I frist saw this I was overwhelmed by the service n I personally asked the sales man that can I change my Ipod if I dont like the colour of Ipod shuffle? then he said Oh yes why not, anytime in this week(7days).
But in excitement I did not see the points below the note.There are many pnts but the first one is v confusing and stupid in sense.It goes like this,
"we will be happy to replace only when the seal is not tampered, tear open, the product should be in sale able condition to other customers".
Now I think Reliance ppl is making us fool by saying so.I wnt after 2 days to change my ipod as I wasnt liking its color.They simply refused and said that pls read the terms and condition.
They want there sold product to be in sealed, sale able condition.The point is how come anybody will keep the new product in same wrapper for 7 days without opening it? so this means Reliance is making us fool with his brand value name.The promise note is very stupid and resembles any roadside vendors promise.
