We have purchased two Reliance Data Card under corporate connection since they have promised 230 kbps minimum and prompt service. One of the card being used by me as I’m a frequent traveler. In the beginning, we were not that alert or inquisitive to check on its performance as we trusted the product and service provider “Reliance”. After few months, I had faced lot of problems in sending or receiving any file attachments and have registered a complaint with them. Since there was no response, it compelled me to contact Mr Anil Ambani’s office and as a remedial action, I have been provided with a Net Booster CD for installation to enhance the speed. Having done that, it was functioning OK and never bothered to make any further representation though sometimes, the speed was a concern. Since few months, I’m facing same problem and have contacted Reliance info several times to get the matter resolved. My email communication to customercare@relianceada.com dated 24 th April 2008 was returned undelivered. The same mail was again forwarded to same ID marking copy to corporatecentre.customercare@relianceada.com for necessary action, but failed to get any reply. I have kept on sending mail more than 10 times including few to contact.chairman’soffice@relianceinfo.com and someone from reliance web world contacted me and assured of attending the complaint and deputed a technician to visit my residence and check the same. He has confirmed the complaint genuine and informed that the matter will be reported to higher-ups for necessary action. Failed to hear from them for more than 4 days, I have send another mail to Mr Anil’s office. Subsequently, they have contacted me and assured that an IT personnel will be send to my residence to rectify the same. On his arrival, he checked and confirmed that the Data Card need to be replaced or send for repair at Reliance authorized dealer. Since internet facility is required by me on a regular basis, I have asked them to provide me a stand bye card till the faulty being repaired. Reliance have never taken any action till today and I will not be interested to buy a new card as its Reliance mistake and not a customer’s. Reliance Info has commenced their Internet /Data card services in the beginning with these cheap cards made in China. There is no  guarantee on this product as its from China and Reliance not willing to replace the card. These cards are manufactured by: ZTE Corporation. ZTE Plaza, Kaji Road South Hi-Tech Industrial Park,Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China In this case, Reliance does not have the right to charge me the fixed monthly charges for the services not provided to me. In this regard, I have communicated them to reduce my monthly tariff from the existing or replace the faulty card as its their concern, but failed to receive any reply from them. Fail to understand, Reliance Info does not follow basic business ethics of prompt response to its customers under who’s association, their business is surviving. Keeping quiet inspite of several mail message is nothing but atrocious breach of trust by service provider.


Again, I have registered a complaint with Customer Care -Mumbai on 16 th May'2008 and the Complaint Number is 01402012 and asper the executive, the matter will be resolved within 48 hours. But to my dismay, its allmost  120 hrs, no whereabout on them. I therefore went to Web World and asked to them look in to, but they too asked me to contact Mumbai.


I called up 0265 3031048  ten times. No response from this number.


I called up  0265 3031010, they asked me to contact corporate support center.


I again send email to Mr Anil's office, no reply. I think Reliance Info is sleeping.
