I pay a flat rate of Rs.25 a day(24 Hours) for 150 kbps speed.For the first month or so I was getting download speeds around 18 KBs(150 Kbps/8= 18 KBs) which was right.But from the second month onwards the download speed hovered around 10.5 KBs(max) which indicates they are only providing a bandwidth below 100 Kbps.I did bandwidth testing using a number of sites and software but the speed remained strictly under 100 Kbps.I tested the speeds at my friends place(Also "Reliance FraudNet" customers) and found out they are also being ripped off.When I asked the Local Cable Operator regarding this, he asked me to contact the customer care.I contacted the customer care they provided a "Caseid Number" and said it would be taken care off.One thing about "Reliance Customer Care"(which a majority of people will agree) is, they don't care about their customers and you guessed it right, no one bothered to turn up until this very moment .Worse I recommended these ripoffs to my friends and for that am regretting big time. I subscribed to "Reliance FraudNet" cause they are the only trick in town.I should have known better since I suffered a similar ripoff(which is altogether a different story) with their mobile service.Folks, I have not included my troubles with the LCO since it'll lengthen my review considerably, i can only say that he is an ignoramus who'll make anyone want to punch him right in his face.Many people will agree with me on the fact "Reliance" and "Honesty" are incompatible things.
Lesson Learned: Reliance as an Internet Service Provider= Great Ripoff, so stay the hell away from them even if they are the only show in town.
Pros:
None whatsoever
Cons:
1.You certainly won't get what you subscribed for(Ex:if you subscribed for a 300 kbps connection you'll only get around 200 kbps only if you are lucky, but still billed for 300 kbps)
2.You wont be able to login into your account as often as you like, since the reliancebroadband.co.in site will not load at all in your browser.
3.Customer Care is a joke.(People with high blood pressure beware)
