I am using Reliance broadnet from almost 2 months, and I feel speed is good and I have never faced any disconnectivity problem so far. Before this, I was using TATA indicomm broadband, the speed was good but I was just paying for being disconnected. I used it for 3 months(as minimum memmbership is of 3 moinths), and for that I paid 3000 Rs, and I hardly received 20-25 days of connectivity.
Reliance service is good and with small adjustment me and my friends are able to connect more than one PC/Laptop withouth using any proxy(THAT GR8!). In 300 kbps UNLIMITED plan, I am getting more than what I opted for. Now days, almost all broadband connection are costing the same, be it reliance or TATA or AirTel.
I have tested the speed @ speedtest.net and it is always 350+ download and 600+ upload speed everytime. Since the upload is good, it greatly effects the overall performance of it.
Cons -
Virus and Worms - This internet service comes with a bunch of worms, most of them are just resource eating. For this I recommend to use ZoneAlarm and Webroot Spysweeper.
Customer Care - I dont know much about their service(as I never faced it!), but as reviews on mouthshut, its not good. If you really want to get good service from any customer care, DONT USE IT.
Recommendations -
Before choosing any wireless braodband connection, make sure its feasible in your area. Dont relly sales executive who will earn his/her bonus on each connection.
Dont choose any long term plan if you dont know the service well, once you have confidence, you can increase it.
Wisely select the plan. If you are download junkie, DONT DARE TO TAKE LIMITED DATA TRANSFER PLAN. Better go for unlimited. If you are very busy person and use internet just to check mails - go for limited data transfer plan.
