Aboslutely AVOID keep it as your last option  If u call Rcare - they will say that your details are not in their database ( just like another member quoted in his post) so they cant take my request . After making a million calls everyday to everyone concerned , after a month I got my phone and net details updated in their database!. That was a week ago .  they tell you their systems are being upgraded hence the delay .And u can forget about contacting the sales person who sold u this cos they vanish the next day and change phone numbers!

NOTE : they will not take your complaint unless u "SHOW on their system and it takes 10 days to do that ( ask to confirm from reliance itself )and all this on their mumbai helpdesk .

*Rcare tells u contact LCO , LCO tells u contact Rcare ( eg sales coordinator : geeta srinivas rao (

geeta srinivas rao : 30332009 / 9342771186

in bangalore ...she wont pick up u r call after the first time u complain )

and mind u EVERYBODY IS A CONTRACTOR right from the person who installs and the people who would give service so u r left at their unprofessional mercy after u have routed all u r calls to mumbai to bangalore contact to sales guy to installing company to local reliance issue solver /service provider )

Another alarming problem --- their customer care email - broadband@relianceada.com is dead .

They reply to a mail after almost a month later .Some of the mails I believe are bounced from their servers . All of their emails arrive in the bulk folder of yahoo. Even their auto reply option is faulty cos I sometimes receive no auto reply for a sent mail .

CONCLUSION--- the reliance broadband setup is not yet properly implemented and I believe they are testing the service on us hapless customers before they can start selling to corporates .

Also as another member stated here , I too get automatically disconnected after a few hours in the middle of a download . I use 300 K unlimited plan . So when u leave PC on at night for download , when u wake up its been disconnected again.

The whole thing is poorly implemented and I suggest u go for AIRTEL broadband / data card

and dont bother to call STD to mumbai customer care because the poor dumb 12th pass call centre agants cant do much and the sales agents dont pick ur phone calls like "Geeta srinivas rao " who avoids phone calls and dosent respond if you call .

and the Mumbai customer service will give just her number therefore u r all by u r self READ IT AS LEFT IN THE LURCH ..

that woman is absolutely unprofessional and fradulent . keep calling she wont respond after they have sold it off to u .

STAY AWAY UNLESS LAST OPTION >

The speed is very slow also the customer service is waste.

I got bored to make complaints about the poor connectivity and speed.

Finally I am not using the connection now.

In my experience I found the following.

  1. The wimax service is not fully established in Bangalore.

  2. Poor customer support

  3. Reliance doesn't have a experienced technical person to solve the issues.

  4. Don't go for Reliance Wimax otherwise don't sign the acceptance form without checking the connectivity and speed.

This post is for who is planning to go for the wimax connection in Bangalore. Its for your awareness nothing else.

I call it simply RELIANCE FRAUDNET even if it works ( if u r lucky ) There were many connection problems.. but no one to resolve
