It was just an attempt to have a new Broad band connection, after taking the feedback from their representative's previous customer(first mistake). I made the payment for the installation and they assured for the installation once the cheque gets encashed. Two days later, I got an SMS from ICICI on the debitted amount and the same afternoon Reliance devices reached home. The engineers took 2hrs to get a signal at the terrace of my home, which is 200mtrs away from TCS building at Velachery, Chennai. After a long struggle or drama, I should call it, they gave up. The final words were, "you ll get a refund on the installation amount".
One month later, surprisingly, I got a bill on the usage showing me the deductions from the paid amount.!@#$!#$@#$?
I wonder how they created bill without making sure on any installation done. Then I started asking everybody at Reliance BB, starting from the installation engineer(Sheikh), customer care representatives, the marketing representative, their team leads etc. Today, I have completed 4months and am still getting the different contact phone numbers to get the current status.:-)
I guess I must have spent more than the refund amount on phone calls.
I also doubt, if they couldnt get a signal with a big Receiver at the Terrace top, how do they claim on signals being received through the tiny card(which they call SIM for laptop).
My bad experience was not with the Network Avalability/Outage, but I can definitely call the Customer Service Worst. So a big No for Reliance BB(Bye Bye).
