Last year I had moved into Goregoan and was looking for a reliable internet connection. Since me and my wife both work and travel, hence it is always important for us to be connected to our office, hence the reliablility of the connection is the most desirable aspect for us.
Meanwhile we were searching for a connection, salesperson from Reliance(Rupesh Singht) one day knocked at our door and offered us a combo package of Internet+Landline. Although I was always sceptical about Reliance services, however since the sales guy offered us all help in terms of installation, startup of internet etc, I agreed for there service.
This was the start of the torture. The sales guy first said he would come to our house for first 3 months to collect payments and see if everything is working fine. He did turnup after the first month, but the bill didnot. Reliance never bothered to send us the bill on postal address, it has only sent us an SMS.
We requested the customer care for a bill, which they send on our email after 4 reminders. Meanwhile for the next month I had changed my mobile number and updated the same at Reliance customer care, but they never bothered to change it. Even today.after 8 months and 20 somethings call Reliance has not bothered to update the contact number in there database. I guess there systems is too old and cumbersome.
Meanwhile, since I was not getting any bill, neither on mail or SMS or postal address, I was not able to pay and they decided to block my service. This was resolved after 2 visits to Reliance webworld, however the story repeated after a month. They didnot bother to update my cell number neither the email address.
Meanwhile, the instrument provided by them for Landline connection also tanked up. Now there is no ring in it and the speaker has stopped working.
I tried despartely to get in touch with customer care and with Rupesh, however Reliance has got great badminton player who know how to put shuttlecock(customers) in each other court.
I am feedup with there service and would strongly suggest the readers not to go with Reliance services - be it Mobile / Broadband service.be it anything.
