I'm back again :)
First let me admit, I do not watch hindi movies but this one I just loved it!! Most of you have watched this movie, but now that you've reached here, do read my review ;)
Kaise main kahoon tujhse!!! Rehnaa Hain Tere Dil Mein…
Story
Story is about Maddy and Reena. Maddy - Madhavan falls in love with Reena - Diya Mirza (who wouldnt?) and is a perfect example of love @ first sight! Maddy now wants to gets close to Reena (who is already engaged to Rajiv -Saif A Khan) and out of desperation comes into her life as Rajiv (telling a lie). Maddy is helped by his father (Anupam Kher) in the process and gives him motivation and tips (Now you dont see this everyday ;) Maddy makes up his mind that he'll tell Reena the truth as soon as he finds the 'right time' (which never comes.)
Movie gets real cool when Maddy tries a lot of things to impress Reena and fails all the times. The attempt which Maddy makes to give Reena a perfect birthday treat is worth watching. In the end of the date, Reena tells him that its not her birthday :D Well all is not in vain and Maddy does win Reena's heart. But when time comes, Maddy is unable to tell his sweet heart the truth that he is not Rajiv.(ya, I can understand..)
Walls of reality comes down crashing for Reena when she finds that Maddy has 'cheated' her. Maddy tries to get her back but unfortunately their love story goes into breakup phase!
At the same time, kahani main twist aa jaati hain when Maddy discovers that Rajiv (Saif Ali Khan) is his old college enemy. In the end after much rona dhona for both Maddy, Reena and us, they both get together (thanks to the real Rajiv) and we people feel more happy than Maddy and Reena.
Moral of the Story
Do not lie to your love! If you lie, confess before Rajiv comes in!!! ;)
Why to watch the movie
Many(Hypocrits) may think the movie is SAD, rona dhona stuff and a love story after all, having the same formula. But this story, I find simply close to my heart. It does keep you gripped till the end. Why? - Every boy (in India?), in his life, gets into situations which are perfectly narrated/re-produced in the movie and kinda makes him remember his sweet luv. The movie prefectly depicts a boy's heart, when in love. ''Rehna hain tere dil main'' and I can do anything for it!
May I say same goes for a girl?
Music
All the songs are good and match every incidents in the movie perfectly! The songs too will touch your heart like the movie.
Casts
Both Madhavan and Diya Mirza were at their best and have put in much life in their roles. Saif Ali Khan was not able to show much...
Finally, the movie is a must watch at least once and remembered forever.
