If the mail service is judged on the speed and nothing else, then Rediffmail will win it hands down. But on the downside, if the service offered is the criteria, then Rediffmail has a long way to go.
What does Rediffmail Offer:
5 MB of space with quick loading time. Though I had problems with rediff site (see my review on rediff.com), I never had any trouble with rediffmail.
The compose confirm is a good feature that has been mimicked by Hotmail and others
What it does not offer:
Security of the site is not very high. Always check at the bottom of IE and Top of Opera, and you will find that the data is unencrypted and thus security is not very high.
Missing Features:
One cannot directly go to any folder, but have to take a round about route
There is no junk mail protection feature.
There is no mail checking feature.
Poping up messages from Rediff is very tough.
Thus, do not use this site for junk mail storage. Instead the utilization should be towards the personal account as the sign in and sign out is very fast, use this for communication with your pals and family.
