In last week I had booked a ticket for ac bus to Sangli from Pune. It was showing that the bus in ac seater but the ticket is cheaper than regular ac bus ticket therefore I immediately booked the same. After an hour red bus customer care called me and informed me that the bus you booked is not ac due to some system problem its is showing ac bus instead of non ac.
They asked weather I want to continue journey with same bus or not. As no other bus was available I said ok will go by that bus only as they have not charged ac bus ticket it was not a problem for me. Somehow after 2-3 days I had to cancel the journey and applied for refund. Refund process is so simple just insert ticket no and registered email id. The 90% refund amount got credited in my account in 2 days. I did not need to call any body from red bus or bus operator. Refund process is faster than irctc.
