Almadeena travels - Service, only if bus occupied. Review on Redbus

Redbus.in service is good and I had no issues with it. This review is about the Almadeena Travels. Though I had APSRTC bus available for lesser price.

I booked Almadeena Travels from Hydrabad to Puttaparthi and return, only because its boarding point is nearer to my home and I had some luggage. But that's the mistake I have done.

Just 3 hrs before departure time, I got a call from Almadeena saying "There's some problem in the bus and it will go only upto Anantapur but not till Puttaparthy and Rs. 100 would be refunded at the boarding point".

Their short notice was not sufficient for me to cancel and book another bus immediately.

It was Diwali and every bus was full. There's no way I can get any other bus at that short notice.

At 5am next morning, they dropped me at Anantapur and I had to unload and reload all my luggage into another bus and continue my journey till Puttaparthy.

How  can a bus that has some problem, can go certainly up till Anantapur and definitely can't continue till Puttaparthy? It clearly shows that these guys are obviously bluffing and the bus is absolutely fine.

As they didn't have sufficient passengers till Puttaparthy, they wanted to save money by dropping us only till where maximum passengers were getting down.

First thing, I did after reaching Puttaparthi is cancelled my return ticket with Almadeena and booked it in APSRTC and reached home safe and on time. I would request everyone not to go with Almadeena as they are not reliable. If their bus don't  fill up, they'll leave you midway without prior notice. APSRTC is best.
