I had planned journey to vaishno devi with my mom and a cousin of mine. I used redbus website to book tickets.
Bus timings were 7:30 pm from majnu tila(delhi). we reached there at 7:10 and found out that their travel partner's office was open but nobody was there. I called up and inquired about the Jammu bus. he said that the bus will leave around 8 pm and that he will send a person to the office soon.the person came at 7:50 and said that the bus had already left at 7:30.
We were shocked because there was noone at the office to guide us and there was no bus at the pick up point from 7:10 to 7:50.it was late and we had nowhere to go. we then had a fight with the tours and travel guy and he managed to find a bus from lal qila at 10:30 pm. we went to lal qila to find a bus which had sharing sleeper that meant I had to share a sleeper with some stranger which was weird and very inconvenient...i was very dissatisfied with the service.
Till the time tickets were not booked someone named Deepa from redbus kept on calling me several times but once the tickets were booked and they got the money no one even bothered whether we got the bus or not.
