I had planned a trip to vaishno devi from Delhi with my family members.I had booked ticket from redbus.in for the roundtrip 1 moth in advance.I got the tickets delivered at my residence. I was told to board bus from Ram krishna Marg Metro station.We reached there bit early andafter som etime bus came.Though we keep waiting for bus to start for 1 hour but eventually we started the journey 1 and half hour later.
However, on way back we were supposed to board the bus from Katra station to Delhi.But to my surprise when I reahced the place to board the bus I was told that bus is not available.When I contacted redbus.in, they say they are helpless.Even redbus.in was not proactive enough to inform us in advance so that we can make alternate arrangements.We were staranded at Katra with no place to go as we have ahecked out of hotel.
My advice to all is do not take on face value what these guys claim and book tickets directly from operator.It might cost more money but atleaset is reliable.
