Red Fort or the Lal Qila in Delhi, built by Shah Jahan is the biggest evidence of the architecture and culture of the historical India! It is located in the Chandni Chowk and is a big attraction for tourists all across the globe.
Built in Red and White, the favorite colors of Shah Jahan(as told by the tourist guide at Red Fort), the Fort look extremely beautiful and massive construction.
It is built over an extremely large area and the government has also developed museums, artifact galleries, market and essential stores in the premises that adds to the tourist attraction. The Fort has huge walls, forts, tombs, rooms which were home to the Rulers, courtiers, their wives and the army around in the early 1600s.
The Mumtaz Mahal Museum is an extremely well developed museum which contains artifacts, weapons, warfare models, clothes, body armors and several other things that belonged to the Mughal Dynasty.
The place is really a good spot for all kinds of tourists and travelers and is the major spot for history lovers. I had an endless and fun and enjoyment during my visit to red fort as I was surprised to watch the beauty, architecture, artifacts and specially to know the culture and history of the Mughal rulers of India!
