There is a new dance realty show on Star One.
When it started off about 3-4 weeks back, it looked very promising. It is a dance contest between boys and girls or lets says between ladies and gentlement.
The format is different from the dance shows that are flooding the idiot box.
The hosts are young and peppy and address each other as Ms. Wow and Mr. super cool. The contestants especially the ladies are good, well mannered and decent. The same cant be said about the guys who get downright rude, arrogant and border on abuse, especially Mr. Gaurav Kapoor. The guys should be told prior to coming on show to treat the ladies with respect especially keeping in mind each team has a child among them as a participant.
In one of the episodes one of the lady participant had a wardrobe malfunction and the guys were making fun of her. It was downright arrogant and cheap. Kudos to the lady who inspite of the malfunction handled herself very well and completed her performance.
The judges lack too, Someone could give tips on dressing up to Malaika. Her clothes show more than they cover. Sometimes I wonder whether she dresses to exhibit her assets or. Her dressing sense most of the times borders on porn. She might have a good figure, but she should remember she is a mom of a growing up kid and what impression is she creating of herself in its eyes.well at the end of the day to each his own. But that does not mean they do not have a moral responsibility towards society. They are in a business where millions of people look upto them.
As for Chunky Pandey, he should gracefully retire. For his good, he wears colored glasses or else everyone could have seen the lechery in his eyes. He is sexist too. Being a guy, he is biased towards the guys and gives them better points even when they perform badly.
