I would definitely say that if you want the quality then you have to pay for it but if you want a brand along with quality, you have to much more.
in case of raymonds this thing exist, I bought a white kurta cloth of raymond from jammu Raghunath BAZAAR and it cost me around 1700rs, also stitching charges of rs 300.
it was no doubt awsome but later on I came into a contact of local shop in udaipur having the same quality of cloth around 500 per price .
I am having 3 kurta of that local sold .
so, I believe its not necessary to go for a brand rather go for the quality indeed.
