We have been to Ravangla in March 2008 during our NE India Tour. We booked our rooms in Mt Narshing Village resort. There were many places we visited. The temi tea estate is an excellent calm place. We visited Buddha park which contains grand statue of Lord Buddha and it was very wonderful.
Then we move on to Shiva Temple which is located on the banks of the Rangit river, at Legshep and its most popular feature is the annual festival of Shivaratri. After that we visited certain monasteries like Tashiding, Bonn, Ralang and Tumlong. We even gave some time to Rayong Sunrise view point which provides a panoramic view of the surroundings and a very good view of the sunrise at the place and Mangbrue Gompa View Point. Overall it was a very pleasant stay at Ravangla.
