Here when you order for idlies, the waiter brings two soft,white and hot idlies in a plate and pours the delicious and unique tasting sambar over the idlies in front of you,he pours it from a jug and he pours it until you say it is enough.The ideal way to have these idlies is to float them in the sea of sambar and allow them to soak for some time and scoop them using spoon,it will just race through your mouth down to the stomach. The legend about the sambar is that, chefs from one particular family makes the sambar and the recipe is kept as a secret among themselves.
