By writing more about him everywhere, so that he may get the attention he deserves...
Who is he?
He is a fellow indian implicated in pakistan, stinking in a pakistani jail, accused for terrorist acts that he did not commit.. He is a man with a family-parents, siblings, wife and children all in amritsar.
Why him?
It reminds me a lot about the mentality of the police/judicial system of pakistan shown in Veer Zara. You can find out about this guy in https://indiatimes.com, and know how come he got caught in their tangles... poor chap, never should have gone to visit it in first place,,,
Supreme court of pakistan has accused him of bombings and terrorist acts when he was not even there,,,,
but why do I feel for him?
i feel he is innocent, and its better to save 1 innocent life rather than worrying about letting go 100 guilty ones,,,,,,
I also feel if the International Human Rights commission can come to his aid, pressure on pakistan can be put....
If Abu Salem can be given a life imprisonment instead of death sentence that he deserves, just because the portuguese judicial court requested india to do, I think we should ask pakistan in a very assertive if not aggresive way to let this guy go..
I have seen many-a-times not so important news being highlighted for the wrong reasons, if any of the readers of this have access to any of the news channel, ,please do anything you can to let the local or national media go for this one and for the government...
I am not related at all to this person, but I thought, what if it could be someone I had known, my brother or father or myself, who had just been somewhere to travel, and accused and given death sentence for all the wrong reasons???
for further info. please check the https://indiatimes.com site of march 10th...
I want to spread this message of an innocent life being lost ,,, I know lots of lives are lost in india, and there has to be a time when we stop being so casual about it.....let this be now....
thank you...
