Rating , from My Point of View !. Review on Rating Reviews on MouthShut

First of all, let me thank all my MS friends for taking time to read and rate my piece on MouthShut's trusted circle.I take pleasure in sharing some points on rating in this review. My criteria for rating is very simple! You reap what you sow! If your review is good enough to convey me all the information I am looking for regarding any purchase or service, then it is a quick HR from me.Ofcourse, the review should also have been presented in a neat manner, without any grammatical errors.I expect atleast 500 words to make a good review. It need not necessarily be a lengthy one.You may get bored reading long reviews. You get a R from me, if you haven't given all the information I need about a product or service you've reviewed. I feel I don't have to agree with all the points you've given in your review. Because, I understand that some products, which you may not like, will be still liked by other people. Eg. Pepsi or any other carbonated drink. If I find there is some beneficial information to other users in your review, I still give R, though I may not like the product. Just because the other person does not like the product which you seem to like, putting him in your distrust list or rating him low are not correct things to do. Hope you agree with me! Opinions differ with each person and I like to respect other's opinions. Rating a SR is very easy! As soon as I see a cute mini- review, even before reading, I know it is going to get a SR from me. I don't believe in people saying a review can be good enough to get a HR or R, even if it is too short! A good, outstanding review will have all the information you need to help you make a right decision, which honestly cannot be conveyed in mere few lines. Reviews with just about 5 -7 lines or about 75 words get SR from me. To the benefit of people getting SR, let me remind you, you are expected to share in as much details as you can about a product or service for all the users here. Do you think you can render that help in just a few lines? NR from me goes to people who deliberately write some nonsense, though they are fully aware of the fact that it is going to be not recommended! They may write for fun, but I am honest in my rating! I have to NR those reviews. Last but not the least, I would like to point out about commenting without rating! Some people read your reviews and you know that it takes just a second or less to rate it. When a person has taken a few minutes to read your stuff, it is not hard to spend less than a second to rate it as well. Instead they go for commenting! I don't appreciate those kind of comments when the reviews are not rated after reading. You must Read, Rate and then Comment! Commenting can be optional. When you see a review being read by 20 people for eg, you don't see 20 comments for the same! Read the reviews. If you don't feel like rating, fine! Go to read another review . But, don't skip the middle part if you want to do full justice. Reading and then commenting without rating looks indecent to me. Again, this is my opinion, and I am aware the fact that opinion differs with everyone. Okay, I think I've said enough, right from my heart . Take care of your precious selves and keep on Reading, Rating and Commenting!
