FIRST OF ALL I WISH TO APPOLOGISE AS WHAT IS WRITTEN BELOW HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE RATING OF REVIEWS .
I FIND IT EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO ENTER THIS COLUMN AS ONE HAS TO GO TO SOME PRODUCT OR OTHER.BUT WHAT I WISH TO EXPRESS IS JUST SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT .FOR THOSE WHO FEEL THAT WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING.SO KINDLY DO NOT THINK THAT I AM TAKING YOU ALL FOR A RIDE.ONCE I KNOW HOW I CAN GET TO THIS COLUMN WITHOUT HAVING A PRODUCT TO SPECIFY, YOU WILL FIND ME DOING THE RIGHT THING.MEANWHILE IF ANYONE CAN GUIDE ME PL DO SO.
When we were children we were told so many stories and so many proverbs.It was more of a fun to read them than think seriously of the underlying meaning of that…ofcourse we used to write one paragraph or one page as the teacher wanted us to do…
When I see the newspapers of today what makes me wonder is what happened to all that we had studied in those days…did we really learn anything from that? Have we made our mind to go deeper in to those statements? Do these statements have any bearing on our day today life?
See for example we have read that' you can only bring a horse near the pond…you cannot make it drink water'…In today's thinking and modern scientific way of discussions we say the very same thing' no one can teach any one anything unless one decides to learn'…How true…We all talk of love, respect, culture, civilization, education, religion, economy and what not! All big things…and just look to ourselves.
Hatred, jealousy, violence, corruption, fanaticism, fundamentalism and what not…these are the'isms' that rule us…are not they?
Why? Why? Is it that we are blind to all these around us? Is it that we are ignorant of these? Is it that nobody has told us about these that we do not know?
If we just spent a little time and lookinto ourselves then we see that it is not that we do not know of these, it is not that we are ignorant of these, it is not that some one has not told to us of these, but we do not want to really'KNOW'…we do not want to LEARN…
To add one more of similar statement to this is' YOU CAN ONLY WAKE A PERSON WHO IS SLEEPING…NOT PRETENDING TO SLEEP'…
All these are very much applicable to us…Right?
Do we want to continue like this?
The choice is ours.
