Very Polluted Area. Review on Ratangad

This Ratangad trekking spot in Ratanwadi of Maharashtra.When I first visited it few years back it was a very nice place to see and to pay a visit but when I visited it currently this place has been very badly polluted by the traveller, moverover there is none here to take care of the beautiful spot.

Accessibility:

This trekking spot is located in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra.It takes almost 5 hours to reach the spot through highway from Ahmednagar. So consider the distance first if you really want to go there.

Local sightseeing:

The surroundings are great to explore and it is also a nice spot for photography but the problem is that this area is not like earlier.This area used to be clean fresh and hygenic all around and now due to higher number of visitors and travelers every year this area is very badly populated but the bad part is that the local authority or government is not taking proper care of the area. My kind request to the local ruling government would be that to preserve this area from being polluted and to clean it regularly so that the visitors do not distracted at all.

Nearby hotels and accomodations:

There are numerous mid-range hotels nearby this area and the one which we stayed in was an average hotel for us.Other than hotels there were also paying guests facilities available and that was sort of convenience for so many travelers.

Safety;

This point is worth considerable when you are planning to travel to such an open place.This spot is not having any security or caretaker.So if you are planning to travel with the family then be alert as it will be completely new place.

After taking into consideration all points I would not suggest you to visit this place(do not get me wrong it is a nice sightseeing place but wait untill the local authorities get this place back to it's original state.
