I booked a car with Ratan Motors on 29th May 2003 with booking amount of Rs. 40000. I was promised delivery within three weeks. Around 10 June I was told that my car has been dispatched from Factory. Based on these inputs, I withdrew money from my bank by pre-closing my fixed deposits. However a week later I was told that car has not being dispatched. Because of their incompetence, I had to suffer interest loss of Rs. 6500/-. On July 12, I paided the dealer balance amount Rs. 3,35,000/- even after that received my car on 31-July-2003. Thats two month for delivery of car. The dealer used my monies and paid me interest of Rs. 120/- for two months. The car I received had scratch marks on it. At time of delivery, inspite of having told him that I will come around 10 a.m. in mornings, the dealer made me wait till 12.00 noon. These my experiences with this dealer, Hence sincere reccommendation please avoid this dealer. He is a thief.
