Ranthambore fort is situated within the surrounding area of Ranthambore National Park which is approximately 12km from the city Sawai Madhopur.The fort is a very huse monument of ancient Mugal dynasty time. This was the main place to take trade business between north and central India. The Fort is well protected by the high and strong wall.It has two massive and Strong entrance gates. The fort stands majestically a hill overlooking a entire park with beautiful sceneries and sites. The fort is located slightly on the hill top where you have to reach by walk through more than 1000 steps.
The view of the fort surrounding becomes better and better as you go up.The whole area looks very beautiful and if you have good quality camera than you can make your visit memorable by taking nice clips of fort and park surrounding of its interesting architectural and historical sights.
The park is seen with big cats and other wild animals, birds like eagles, vultures, serpents, monkeys etc. If we required then, we can take guide help to know all about its ancient history and they will give good knowledge about it. You will find a group of monkeys sitting on the walls and jumping all around. If you are walking towards the fort with some eatables in the hands, than all of sudden they will snatch from you without any prior warning. So be careful from them.
The place is very safe.Ambience is very good. In the fort you can see the khsmbhs chatri, hamir kachahari, hamir palace, Rani palace and besides that there are nice lord Ganesh mandir, Shiv mandir and jain temples are located where you can go and worship them and take their blessings.
