Around last year I came across a DVD with 5 movies. The last one was “Mere Khwabo Mein Jo Aye” starring Raima Sen and Randeep Hooda. This was the Second movie of Randeep that I have seen. But this was a very unusual movie about the fantasy of an urban housewife. And Randeep Hooda was the dream man. He looked awfully sexy and charming on whom Raima was drooling over. I feel this was the first time a man was portrayed as a matter of desire.

And this is how I discovered the hottest man of Bollywood Randeep Hooda. His looks, personality, charm, voice and off course his acting abilities everything is just out of this world.

Randeep started his career with a big film like "Monsoon Wedding". Tall, slender and charming he caught many attention in his debut movie. However even after a prominent performance in Monsoon Wedding he had to wait for four years until Ram Gopal Varma cast him as lead in the gritty gangster flick “D”(2005). It was a turning point in his career. The D which supposedly portrayed Dawood Ibrahim's real life gave Hooda a grand entry into tinsel town. He did another great action movie “Risk” where he played a cop. In both the movies Randeep’s performance was praised by all.

Afterwards  he played the lead role in the romantic film “Ru Ba Ru”, a comedy “Love Khichdi” and a cross over film “Karma and Holi”. But these movies did not performed as they should have in the Box office due to lack of publicity. But Ru Ba Ru remains my personal favorite.

Then came “Once Upon a Time in Mumbai” and I was bowled over. Randeep played the sophisticated, charming and rock solid ACP Agnel Wilson of Mumbai crime branch. He was the surprise package of the film. And what a performance!

In 2011, he impressed critics by giving a stellar performance in the film “Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster”. He played the raw, rustic and sexy Bablu the Gangster.  And people thought “is this the same guy who did Agnel Wilson?” Such a fine actor he is.

Finally In 2012, He played the role of ACP Pratap Raghuvanshi In "Jannat 2" and has been getting positive reviews from critics. In this movie he had to compete with Emraan Hashmi. To every ones surprise Randeep as the grieving head strong cop stole the lime light from Hashmi.  And he became a craze both to the mass and class alike.

In his latest film jism 2 he plays an Assassin. And what an assassin. He killed all young females of the country with his vulnerability and physicality.

Waiting for his new releases. The first one is going to be “Heroine” with Kareena Kapoor. And then many more to come. Randeep has just began. And even sky is not the limit for my favorite star Hooda!
