My wife had a small lump in her back near shoulder. The surgeon Rajeev Premnath, suggested that the lump could be removed with a small surgery. The surgery was done in their electronic city branch by Dr Rajeev.
Te surgery was done within 45 min, and she was immediately discharged. That night to our horror we found that her back was completely bleeding and in fact she was in a pool of blood. We took her to Ramakrishna Hospital Electronic city , and it was told it is common and the it was just discharge of puss cells.
They cleaned, and she was continuously bleeding and everyday the blood kept coming from the stitch. SO we refereed to an other Hospital in Kerala, and the doctor mentioned that the surgery was done haphazardly.
The stitch should should have been in three layers, but here they have done only a superficial one. All the infected cells were not completely removed. The Inciision should have been vertical or Oblique, here it was done horizontally.
The patient should not have been discharged immediately .
