Ram Mandir is a very popular temple in Bokaro. It is one of the oldest temples in this steel city. Located in sector 1 in Bokaro, it is a must visit place to Bokaro.

In fact, people visiting Bokaro should  visit this famous temple once. It was established in the year 1967.

We went there by car and the car parking facility is nice. There is a market in front of the temple and you can make purchase of PUJA stuff from there.

The Temple is not very big like Sita temple, but it seems a great place and an old charm is there. Main God worshiped here is Lora Rama. Apart, there are several small temples. We offered Puja and prayers to all the temples. I liked to visit Hanumanji temple, Lord Shiva temple as well as Maa Durga temple.

It reminds me of the Sai baba temple in Dhanbad in Koila Nagar and so many temples near by like Ram Mandir, Hanuman Mandir, Durga Mandir etc.

Anyways, this Ram Temple is a famous one in Bokaro and the temple authority is doing lots of social services too. We talked to some of them and they informed us they organize marriages of underprivileged and poor family are also held in this temple every here! This is really a noble effort and I liked the concept too.

As the temple is located in main market area, the big market near to the temple is called RAM MANDIR MARKET by the local. After offering our Puja, we have visited around the market. I have seen plenty of food joints there providing you tea, sweets, snacks items like Idli Dosa etc. Apart, the market is quite big and my relatives also purchase their household stuffs from this place. Again, it seemed to be like Park Market in Hirapur, Dhanbad.

All these cities like Dhanbad, Bokaro have some similarities if we visit the temples and markets, they have lots of things in common.

Overall, we ended our temple trip in Bokaro by visiting this Ram Mandir. If you are new to this city, please visit this temple and it is very easily accessible from any part of the city.

I recommend it.
