Lousy background score, strange angle, Flawless acting and RGV are back.... with a Bang.....

Warning upfront.... not meant for faint hearted, strictly above 18 and very strictly its pure bloodshed....

i wanted to see this film for two reason, RGV was back with a genre where no one can beat him and Vivek Oberia, again tailor made role for him. But most importantly its the Character Sketch that draws your attention in the film.... every character is just so brief and precise, no complex character no double standard, no hero and villain in same person.....

coming to the story, the plot is nothing new, but the presentation is commendable, in short Ramu style. Shiv Badra is a righthand of CM Narayan Reddy but he belongs to lower caste, this is not acceptable to Nagmani Reddy (Srinivasa Rao Kota), the younger brother of Narayan Reddy who thens plots a situation wherein he turns Narayan Reddy against Shiv badra and get him killed by his own allies, this turns the entire family and caste against Narayan Reddy and his family, enters two new Players, Bukka Reddy (Abhimanyu Shekar Singh), son of Nagmani Reddy andSushant Singh who is the son of Shiv badra and they carry on with mass scale bloodshed of each other people and family. This carries on until Sushant singh is killed and enters his younger brother Pratap Raj (Vivek Oberia) who seeks revenge for his father and brother. he kills narayan reddy and his brother. Bloodshed continues and just when u feel that this is getting over, enters Shivaji Rao (Shatrugan Sinha)who wants to win the election but is denied by Bukka Reddy. he gets in touch with Pratap Raj and then we see the uprising of Pratap Raj.

The film is all about getting Revenge, the purest form of emotion. Film says that gone are the days when getting justice was the sweetest revenge, its all about killing your enemy to satisfy yourself and get revenge. The film has no lengthy dialogue, nothing of eye opener sort plots, its just pure revenge.  The film is a little on voilent side, actually more than that but it works and believe me is you really are a true movie lover than you would appreciate the way this gore violence has been depicted...

Talking of the acting, its nothing less than awesome. Every character is so engrossing, its such beautifully created, sketched and depicted, Be it Pratap Raj, Narayan Reddy or Bukka Reddy. Vivek Oberia is just tailormade for these roles. While coming out of theater I was wondering who else could have done justice to this role other than Vivek, I still have no answer. Abhimanyu Shekar Singh, what shall I say about him, my friends never knew he was in the film and the time he came on screen one of my friend shouted are yeh to Ran Sa hai (for those of you who dont know whai I am talking about, please see Gulal). He was flawless, so flawless that you even start hating him from the core of your heart. Shatru sahab kaha the aap?   short and brief role but cant wait to see what he is offering in the sequel. Shushant Singh was precise in his role but I wish I could have got more of this talented actor. Good to see Aashish Vidyarthi, he was good. Suriya was ok, Radhika Apte (Sunita) impresses and so does Sudeep (DCP Mohan Pandey). Srinivas Roa Kota was apt for his role.

the film loses on bad music, Theme song was a letdown, would have been better with a little more composer. Also the narration was too loud, could have used a simple narrator who could have delivered in a much better way. another thing which troubles you is the inappropriate angle RGV takes when an important sequence is going on, but thats his beauty, isnt? Wats RGV without such camerawork....

I have already started my review Praising RGV, but Javed Eijaz, the action director should be praised here for carrying out the voilence which is really prevalent rather than flying men and even women nowadays, Screenplay was tight, its a bit overstretched in the 1st half but never fails to deliver...

Now the two most impressive scene which are most stupendous ones are :- first is the scene where Vivek takes her lover to his in laws and demands their blessing, superb and the 2nd one is where Vivek kills Narayan Reddy and his wife slaps his brother and folled by argument between Nagmuni Reddy and Buka Reddy, again awesome..

I remember in one of the interviews Ramu said that this movie is meant for women in men and not for men in women!!!!! I think ramu have made his point clear.
