I got the recommendation for this park from one of the local person. He said, park has some of the good animals such as tigers, bear and snake. However my experience after the visit was completely different from what I was being told.
Fees:
I found the fees for the park reasonable.The kids pass was low cost. Considering the park lacks most of the exotic animals and birds, I think the price was moderately placed. I'd never pay if they increase price for the limited animals inside.
Wild Animals:
This part is something very important for anyone going to visit. Note that you may enter assuming there are lot of animals. But you'll realize that only visible animals to you are - white tiger, Bengal tiger and pack of cheetah.
Few other animals include deer and some of it's variety, buffalo etc. But you won't be able to see elephant clearly. There is also less visibility for bear, which is also less likely to be visible during afternoon time.There are two different types of monkeys there worth watching.
Lot of animals are missing and lot of them are outside visibility no matter which time you visit the park. Also the white tiger fence being a bit open, kind of makes it risky.
Birds:
You may find hawk, owl and few species of duck etc. There is a water reserve, so you may see few of the duck variety nearby.
Snakes:
This park is known for it's collection of snakes. And for this part you won't be disappointed. There are lot of snakes over there. Be it cobra, domestic water snake etc. All of them are in safety cages except few ones out which need proper caging.
Tortoise:
You may find some rare tortoise being kept there. Four different variety of tortoise were visible for anyone. And they were kind of kept in a bit safety net to avoid people touching them.
Alligator:
Two different species of alligator were there. And safety part was low. Considering anyone can take picture just by holding smartphone above them. A single snap from the alligator could damage people who try to access the cage region.
I expected park to have aquarium. But I was disappointed. Also I was expecting variety of birds, but other than owl and one eagle and hawk, there was nothing for me to see.
Cleanliness:
Park lacks cleanliness. Also the amount of trees planted inside are not actually keeping it cool, instead those trees are hardly helping keep the park environment cool.
Food:
Outside food is allowed in some places. But please do not feed deer or any other wild animal with it. They'll get affected in terms of health. Don't expect the outside street food to be good. As it's not clean from what I have seen.
Experience
My experience overall was not that good. Considering I have seen many other places with better animals and sightseeing for animal park.
I'd not recommend this for those who are solo travelers or want to see more animals. It's good enough for kids and parents for one off trip.
