wow,wow,wow,wow!!! thats what I say.....INFACT THATS THE ONLY WAY U GOTTA SAY IT HONEY!! I personally own a rd350 HeT,1985 model.. I am 20 years of age living in kolhapur and my name is bhushan..well the first time I saw this bike was way back in 1997 I was only 14 at that time,it was a black one I saw in mumbai,a college boy had it....I FELL IN LOVE !!!! I dazed and dazed at it,and I really wanted one. GOD!!! this might be the best bike I have riden EVER!! its a 32bhp,350cc,two cylinder,two stroke,and also has 6 gears.no indian bike has that??? does it??? and all u bajaj pulsar,cbz,enflied guys can sit and daze at this bike,cuz none of your bikes are worth the RD!!! well even my girlfriend is afraid to sit on it,cuz it really gets the pillon persons heart in thier mouth....this one is fast,REAL FAST.. even if u ask me,to sit back,i wouldnt agree,cuz the backseat guy,might be the person who really gets afraid.well anyways,this bike reaches the top speed of 160 kph,if u have a proper road and good experience in riding a HEAVY DUTY bike like the rd....if u get a balancer pipe of the proton company and fix it between the carburrettors,your bike will perform even better.....BUT,BUT,BUT DONT EVEN THINK OF PUTTING THE PROTON SILENCERS ON YOUR BIKE,YOULL SCREW YOUR BIKES CONNECTING RODS....this bike is made precisely,and doesnt need a lot of modifications as such... try making the bike a electronic one,cuz the time setting are really a PAIN! I bought the bike for the sheer pleasure of pick up....TRUST ME GUYS,U HAVENT RIDEN SOMETHING LIKE THIS ONE! its the r1 of india...ha!! this thing can reach70kph in just its second gear.and there are still 4 more gears to go HONEY!!u wont get a new one cuz this bike was a sales failure in india....i think IT WAS LAUNCHED IN THE WRONG TIME... all u new guys in the bike riding buisness,U REALLY MISSED OUT SOMETHING ....BIG TIME.... well I do think the brakes suck!! cuz I think the bikes too fast for slow brakes like them. the firing of the bike is MIND BLOWING!u havent heard something on any indian bike before....infact it doesnt even sound like a 350cc bike.....it more or less sounds like a 600-750 bike.....trust me,if your walking alone on a road with no one around,and a RD comes screaming from back,youll THINK THE TRAINS HEADING THE STATION....it has a great engine.with two cylinder,which gives a great pick up... incase your trying to buy one,let me caution u! there types in a RD a Low torque and a high torque bike.....the company realeased a very few high torque bikes,cuz these bike drank a lot of petrol and they were really fast for stubborn indian roads....so the company released the low torque,which 27bhp from the 32bhp high torque engine,just to get the economy of the bike good.......i can tell u if the bike is a low torque or high torque just by looking at its handle.. so if u are a real hooligan rider and need something fast,go for the HeT,but let me tell u,be sure u get an experienced RD mechanic while buying one...ok!! so anyways guys this is my STORY!!! I still am in love with my rd HeT..... thats one reason I say its and GENTLEMANS BULLDOG!!
