Dear embers,
I have purchased Honda Dio in July 2013 from Raja Honda. During purchase, there was a sales manager 'Nandini' who was very friendly. There was a sales representative 'Manjula' who spoke very well during the purchase and made the deal successful.
I used the vehicle for 2 weeks and found there is a problem in the vehicle and the vehicle is dragging me towards right side while riding. The vehicle was wobbling a lot and shaky.
1st free service:
I approached the showroom for 1st free service and the service people told me the following issues are there:
1) Handle and wheel is not aligned properly
2) There is a bend in fork
3) The handle is very hard and not moving smoothly
4) There could be a manufacturing defect
When I approached there to collect the vehicle, the service person 'Harish' told me that he has rectified the issues and the vehicle is good to use. I questioned them if there was a manufacturing issue, then how can the vehicle be used now. The service manager 'Kapil' told that there is no defect and it is good to use. 'Harish' in front of the manager did not want to talk about issues what he reported to me. I was disgusted and left the showroom and continued using the vehicle again but still the problem continued. I was clueless how a new vehicle could have so many problems.
I even wrote a personal email to ' rdchandrashekhar@rajahonda.com' but this gentleman did not even bother to call me or reply to my email and address my concern.
1 month after 1st free service:
I again approached the service manager and he told me that there is more air in the front tyre because of which I felt the wobbling. The problem still continues and I am finding that the vehicle is dragging towards the right side and wobbling because of which I am facing health issue like back pain. I cannot freely turn the vehicle in turnings because the handle is very stiff. This is a defective vehicle and on mentioning to the service manager, he was very rude to me saying that he does not want to argue with me and he will not service my vehicle in Raja Honda. And if I wanted to argue, I can approach some other service center to rectify issue in my vehicle. This is the kind of talk you need to hear after paying a sum on 60, 000/- INR to buy the so called 'new vehicle'.
In spite of repeated requests and complaints from customer, the people in Raja Honda are totally useless. Today, I want to approach the consumer court for justice in my case. I also have my health reports ready. I'll keep you posted about the same.
