Last week(11th March to 13th March, 2017) I had traveled from Surat to Palitana, The booking was done through Raj Travells for the bus of Patel Travels.
Few points you should be careful while travelling with any of both the travel company while you book whole Bus for 35 persons:
At the time of booking with Raj travels, we asked Raj Travels to show the Bus which they are planning to provide, they told - we are having many buses you can chose anyone. This was our first mistake where we had not finalized bus with its Number.
Initially Raj Travels person told us they will send new bus but at the last moment they told their buses are under repair and so they will be able to send Patel Travel’s Bus(I believe this was his plan since initial)
As per plan they were suppose to send AC bus but one day before they told they don’t have AC Bus due to its under maintenance.
After we travelled for few Kilometers one person(from Patel Travels) stop the Bus and he told if you want to go ahead you have to make full payment of Rs. 32000/-(We had already paid advance of Rs. 10000) this fare also includes return fare. We had argued for 45 Minutes and they told if you are not comfortable then you can cancel the booking, he was very much aware we will not do this and finally he had taken full amount from us.
The bus was in a pathetic condition, there was no Charger facility or LCD. The windows don’t have locking system so it was difficult to travel during night with Kids.
They don’t bother with Rules and Regulations, they have not provided cleaner in the bus. The bus was drove by single person, both the way.
When we asked to take route which was around 40 Kilometers long, we told them we are ready to pay additional money, if any. They have demanded 3000/- which was higher than the decided amount.
This is the worst experience of my with the Raj & Patel travel company. I request not to ever travel with this Patel or Raj tours
