To put it simply..Use Raj travels only if it is the last option on earth. We had booked Far East Nano package of 7 nights/ 8 days with scheduled departures in end May. Full payment of 1.15 lacs was made 3 monhs in advance.
It was after we made full payment , , , we got to know what Raj travels's true standards (read as colours) are. To begin with .. staff is not trained in telephone etiquttes. Receptionist just transfers the call without even listening to you completely.
If the concerned executive is not on desk and call is picked up by colleague. You will be kept on hold for ages...and they dont even check back if the customer's call is transferred or is he still holding. If not in good mood, your call can abruptly be disconnected.
Our executive (Ms. Chaitali Sawant.....people in our group which travel call her as Liar Sawant) was very sweet n equally dumb. It took me 3.5 hours to get in touch with her...this when I had her mobile no, desk phone and common office number. We were chasing her for original invoices of payment made...for which she took 3 months to send....n believe me she has not sent any original invoices till date. She promised us 2 travel bags....we received only 1. Reason she says it was out of stock.
We were supposed to depart on 20/05 evening frm mumbai and could have reached Bangkok on 21/05 am hrs. And departure from Singapore was on 28/05 am hrs. Could have idealy been 7 nights/8 days. But without even intimating the customer they changed the departure to 21/05 noon. We reached 21/05 late evening. Straight to dinner and then hotel. We lost 21st May.
While going from Malaysia to Singapore...it was advised that by coach it will take 3-4 hrs, It actualy took us more than 5.30 hrs. We departed Malaysia on 26/05 am and reached Singapore on 26/05 late pm. Straight to hotel , depart to dinner and back to hotel. We lost 26th May. Departed on 28/05 am hrs. Made to wait for 5-6 hrs at Bangkok airport.
So it was 5 DAYS only nevermind 7 nights. This was brought to notice of Mr. Bharat (Manager - Head office at Charni road) where in he promised to take some action but never reverted. I now felt cheated as they are not even giving any refund for the time we lost due to their improper planning. It seems Raj now have their pockets full and not care for their customers any more. My short honeymoon turned shorted due to the time lost.
