Smart Mom's know how kids minds grow upon sweet pickles! Do you remember that 70's commercial? Many kids grew up with these books that encouraged young minds to learn to read. Here's another fun, great young reader book expertly written by the great children's author Jacquelyn Reinach.
It is also from the sweet pickles story series as many of her wonderful books are. This book The Rainy Day parade was not part of the original a-z sweet pickles set of books that were offered for ''smart moms''. This was one of the final 14 special series that was added. My son's loved how this story's main character the funny zebra.
He learned from the thoughtful zebra who figures out what to do when it rains on parade day. It is very well written with a story that flows easily. It keeps the interest for young readers or preschoolers who are being read to. The bright colorful pages are entertaining and nicely bring to mind the story.
