Story:

In today’s scenario, everyone is moving fast, in terms of life, career, relationships. We work so hard, put our blood and sweat to achieve and accomplish. Everyone aspires to grow, reach and attain a place in life where no one else can. To be the Best; but what cost do we pay for attaining this position? Do we become stone hearted, do we kill our emotions and feelings to stay there or crawl up? Or is it simply we just don’t feel the emotions, and by the time we realize them it is too late for us?

Rainbow, colours of love, is a story of emotions, feelings which play important role in our lives, which according to us, take a backseat when it comes to ambitions, but are unleashed and take us for a ride, where they take some wrong turns, and bring us to the point where we gain a position but lose something precious. Can we ever get back what we lost? This is what rainbow is all about.

Sujoy, Rajiv, Zia and Priyank are the four main characters. They all have their own aspirations. Sujoy and Rajiv are best buddies, inspite of coming from totally different background. They both achieve success by their hardwork and potential to grow. They paths are intersected by Zia and Priyank, and everything changes ever then. Zia, as the name suggests, Rainbow, pure, and untouchable, has so many shades. Priyank, whose character is created very carefully, it has a strong role but a reader cannot read it, just feel it.

The storyline is quite gripping. The best part is the authors have created a vast diversion with so few characters. A 400 page book, with such diverse corporate insights, where every shade of corporate culture is shown, good, bad and ugly, a concrete jungle where survival of the fittest applies on everyone. But contrastingly, a home, where a well knit family, a caring wife and friend, who stands tall where everyone needs a shoulder is also shown so perfectly. A love story, where the lovers, attract like opposite poles of a magnet, they are attracted to each other because they are so much alike inspite of being diagonally opposite. Two friends, who are at times standing in competition, yet, the friendship and career are two different things for them. They know how to keep them apart.

Strength of Rainbow, according to me is the co-authoring. Two creative people, with their forte in literary writing (which we can witness in their posts) came together and are able to create a beautiful fusion of their ideas constructively. I cannot differentiate where who has written what part, or else as they say, every one has a signature style of writing, which is their identity. But here, the fusion is so beautiful, that all I could see was the different colours of rainbow coming from every page.

Since it is their first attempt, we may find a scope of improvement. But as I read it, I found it very interesting, gripping, entertaining and complete. Wish them all the best.

(The book is in its pre - printing process, I reviewed the book, after reading its soft copy. In case you wish to know more please visit their website https://rainbowcolorsoflove.weebly.com/.)
