Kids are playing ???. Review on Rahul Dravid

Topic/issue : 2nd test Match between India – Pakistan Yet another Test Match is over which left with disappointing both Indian fans and the players.

Why India lost the match was certainly a big question ? after a stunning performance in the first test match, where Indians out played Pakistan. Whereas in the second test match it was just the opposite, in spite of stars players accompanying Indian team they failed to produce a positive result or at least to drag the match till the 5th (final) day. Dravid, Tendulakar, Laxman etc were watching the match as if they were the spectators and hardly spent any time in batting at the field, they hardly had an answer for their poor performance. What the star players means to the Indian team ? when one of them is not performing rest all are going through / following the same pattern!!! is there any good logic behind this (The answer is a BIG NO), come on do something prove your credibility ? after all you people have some grate records against the toughest opponents. You can't play like kids & can’t watch ideally without any shame on your face!!

Mr. Dravid has some other set of serious problems, whatever appraises he got in the last match ( without any good contribution to the team’s batting), he lost it everything in this match here, no luck this time :( If any one watched the match can very well say, India was lost in the first session itself, without putting any effort to make it an evenly match.

Some points to be consider Absence of Saurav Ganguly Poor captaincy by Dravid (This time no team effort so whom to blame ? ) Poor Umpiring by Steve Disastrous Batting performance (top order batsmen including Sachin, Dravid, Laxman) * No effort ( just check Dravid's run out ) * No team Spirit

So we can hope Saurav's return will make some difference to this team, Mr. Dravid you only suits for vice captain position and not captain ( how carelessly you got out in the 2nd innings without facing a ball). This was the height of real poor cricket from a world class player like you. Well, you have open up the question, how we will rate a player then ? At least at the end of the day you need to prove that you have tried your best but failed. But if not then you are just another ordinary player in the team. In this match, no doubt Dravid was one of the persons responsible because in both the innings he failed to bat that probably just one out of many other situations.

Conclusion : Yet again they (star players) again failed to prove the consistent performance and struggling for everything, they were playing like school kids. Now can we hope for some real good cricket again from these Indian players again ??

Note : I am writing this review under this banner as Dravid was chosen as the captain for this test match !!
