Reflection of perfection. Review on Rahul Dravid

Rahul Dravid might not be sharing the spotlight of being one of the best batsman in the world cricket, but he sure as damn should be in that spotlight. I'm a big Tendulkar fan and have always regarded him as the greatest batsman in the world, but Dravid too is an equally deserving man of that honour. When one talks about perfection, look no further than Rahul Dravid. He is probably the only player I've seen who have the capacity to adopt to every situation, a quality not many cricketers can claim to possess. When India needs him to save the team from defeat in test matches, he have the capacity to bring down the opposition team bowlers to tears by batting defensively for any amount of time. At the same time, when India needs him to blast the bowling attack during the last few overs in ODI matches, he can tear apart any bowling attack in the world. Not to mention that Dravid is the epitome of consistency, a guy from whom you can expect a good performance everytime he goes out to bat. What makes this guy even more great is that he never gets disturbed by any damn dirty verbal attacks from opposition team players, he instead frustrates them by not loosing his cool. As I have mentioned before, the greatest quality he posses is his ability to adapt to every situation. When India looses most of the top order, one can always rely on Dravid to put India in a respectable total, when he is required to build up the middle of the innings he can do it better than anyone else, when India needs him to blast off during the last few remaining overs he does it like a dare-devil, not to mention he almost never looses his cool, plays like a rock under pressure situations, and is a perfect gentleman who exemplifies everything good in cricket. It might be safe to say that there will never another Rahul Dravid ever !!
