I would like to highlight the series of Frauds happening at Ice cream shop named Tutty Fruitty Frozen Tastebuds at Raghuleela Mall Vashi. It’s so shocking that they are doing this openly, fooling the customers on purpose to charge exorbitant rates for the Ice Creams they are serving.
1) On 11th Dec 2018, our relatives from our native place visited this Ice cream shop for the first time named Tutty Fruitty Frozen Tastebuds at Raghuleela Mall Vashi at 1st floor. A Staff from this Ice cream shop informed them that they will be charged for Rs 150-200 per scoop for Vanilla and Chocolate Ice cream. So my aunt found the price reasonable and she placed order 2 Ice creams for her kids. And then that staff came back to their table and handed over them the bill of Rs 750. My aunt was shocked as she was expecting a bill amount of aprox. Rs 400. She had complained to the Store Manager for misleading them regarding the prices, but he doesn't seem to listen and gave the lame excuses and told them that they have been charged correctly. Unfortunately, I was not with them at Raghuleela mall to help them out. They were clueless about really happened and felt cheated by the staff. So, they had no other choice and paid Rs 750 to the Store.
2) Even me and my family had been to this Ice cream shop 3 years ago and got cheated by these Fraudsters in a similar way. Before placing the order, we asked them to provide the menu card with the Price list but they simply pointed out the menu list pasted on their Desk without any price mentioned and verbally informed that per scoop rate would be between Rs 50-Rs100. So we placed order for 3 Cone Ice creams. To our surprise, they served us 3 Cone Creams with 2 scoops each without informing us. Later the staff punched the bill for Rs 1450 for us. After arguing with the Manager for 15 mins, we paid only Rs 450.
