Last two films of SRK were just average. SRK is knows for different roles in his movies. This time he is back with RAEES which shows the age of 70-80 decade and it has got all spices or flavors which is considered as hit formula for movies.
Story: RAEES is name of SRK in this movie and he lives in small town of Gujarat with his mother. Jeeshan is best friend of SRK. He and his friend works for liquor business as a worker. Liquor is banned in Gujarat but they are running it illegally. Now they both want to run their own business instead of working under Atul as a gangster. Atul says him to bring money in a specific time. SRK comes to Mumbai and meets Narendra Jha . SRK comes back to Gujarat and runs his own business in illegal liquor business and becomes the leader in few days. Suddenly there is entry of Nawajuddin as an inspector who wants to stop these activities. Nawajuddin is transferred to another area but after little time, he comes back and faces SRK and things become worsen for SRK.
Acting: SRK has played many times anti hero roles and this time again with SRK and this has been really a hit formula for him. He really did a hard work for this movie but this image is not better than previous anti hero movies. Mahira khan has a small and weak role. Nawajuddin is again is the best part of the movie and he is leading in the movie even far better than SRK. He is really an USP of the movie. He comes in movie and takes all credit.
Direction: Rahul did an average job as this movie weak in story and average in direction. Story is slow and direction makes it slower. Few scenes are not needed and seem repetitive. Action scenes are also not as much effective. Movie has been created under big banner and SRK looks as a big star in the movie as compare to other stars but still Nawajuddin is the leading in style and acting.
Music: Music is average. Jaalima song is little effective. Laila song is already hit and known to public as it is a remix song.
