I watched Raanjhana and I think it's a one time watch if you love extreme love stories with an extreme climax. Songs that mesmerised you in promos and audio hardly leave an impact on the big screen, Dhanush is the actor to watch out for.
Dhanush's character yo-yos between being intense and comic and how we wish the comic part was explored a bit more. But still, going by Bollywood standards, it's a well-etched out character with very real shades.
Sonam can do so much better, director has handled some scenes with so much grace and succeeded in extracting superlative performances from everyone, except his heroine Sonam, cinematography is naturally superb, screenplay could've been tighter, somethings could have been explained better but overall - 3 stars for a good colorful attempt!
