It was really a nice experience to view this movie last night in Inox. From the begining a good storyline and acting on the part of Katrina was excellent, particularly her dialogue delivery, which is more matured.Expressions are natural and impressive.
Story has impression of Mahabharat epic. First birth of Karan(Ajay Devgan through a new unknown actress and well-known highly impressive Nasir. Son from a kunwari kanya led to river, like in Mahabharat. Later all party politics as usual. Impression of Ranvir looks like Late Rajiv Gandhi who was not convinced in indian politics.
One change as Duryodhan(Manoj Bajpai)given a kingdom to karna(Ajay Devgan), here too Ajay Devgan gets himself associated with Manoj Bajpai. Rest of the story moves on some bold love scenes, bullets firing, killing, power hungry people openly fighting like Mahabharat.Difference is that every party was of Kaurav unlikely in Mahabharat where fight was between Pandav and Kaurav. Nana Patekar could not show his acting talent like his previous films, all hits.
Love is sacrificed in the name of power politics of one state. Foreigner actress got killed in car blast with her indian husband(Arjun Rampal). Lately Katrina Kaif, after her husbands death was unanimously elected as Party president. Her party wins and when she addresses in public, clearly gives impression of Indira Gandhi as well as Sonia Gandhi.
Always a plus point, really a Prakash Jha's best directed movie.Every one acted his/her best and a dirty face of Indian Politics, particularly of Bihar, U.P. is shown here.Corruption, money game, financier to the party and his power of king maker for want of money.
It is good enough movie but one time is enough, because whatever is shown in the Rajneeti is everyday affair in India and every citizen is fade up of it.
