I was admitted in this hospital while suffering from dengue. Firstly, I was in general bed but suddenly in the middle of the night they shifted me to the icu for practically no reason. They again shifted me to general bed after 2 days and.at that time they said that I was well off. I was under some dr. Gouam Sarkar whom I think can very well squeeze out money from patients. He again shifted me to the icu and that too in the middle of the night stating that I had low platelets count(i.e 56000) and needed a donor immediately and urgently the next morning. It was because that I contacted another doctor that I got to know that no platelet transfusion is required even if the platelets count is as low as 10000 because of a new medicine called platefast and he also said that these kind of patients do not require to be kept in icu. On asking dr. Goutam about this, he hesitated a bit and suddenly said that there was no problem if we couldn't find any donor. Still he pushed me 2 units of platelets. By this time I clearly understood that it was all done to take as much money as possible. Due to this I shifted myself to CMRI hospital where the doctors were shocked to know how I was treated in RSV.
Therefore, I recommend everybody TO NEVER GO THERE.
