The subject, ie Dev Anand was impressive. Answers and explanations were lucid, clear and to the point, unlike most interviews, where, these are verbose, hazy and obfuscated.
The host should have attempted to draw out Dev Anand for comments on his life with Kalpana Kartik. After Taxi Driver, we never saw Kalpana Kartik and it was a total black-out as far she was concerned, in any fora. Why was it so? The host made no effort to bring out this aspect of the subject's life.
What about the heroines he acted with? Except for a brief reference to Madhubala, the serious liaisons of Dev Anand with others was not touched upon at all.
Another very importantaspect, the physically active life of Dev Anand was not touched upon, at all. What is the secret of his mental and physical agility?
The host should have been more aware that Dev Anand was an icon of his time.
Looking forward to more interviews with subjects like Dev Anand.
