Opened NRI account in 2018 lured by high FD interest rate of RBL bank. I have NRI accounts in other banks like HDFC bank, SBI, yes bank, IDFC first bank etc. I found NRI service at RBL bank is worst among all other banks. A simple mobile number change request sent to all other banks was done within a week by other banks whereas in RBL still it is pending after 2 weeks without any timeline to complete. Even their mobile App MoBank doesn't work with bugs in it. People should stay away opening NRI account in RBL bank to avoid harassment which I have been facing.
