The music by kalayanji anandji, dialogues by kadar khan, produced and directed by feroz khan himself. The movie was made on a budget of 20crores in the late 80's one of the most expense movies every made in the 80's.

Ourbani is a story of two bestfriends rajesh (feroz khan) and amar (vinod khanna) both conmen happen to love the same girl (zeenat aman). There is lot of action and drama that follows and evtually one of the friends sacrifices his life trying to save the other the violent climax of the film, shot in england.

The music is one the best so famous in the 80's foot tapping numbers like laila o laila, kya dekhte ho, and the title song qurbani was the rage of the nation. a british born pakistani singer sang the songs for zeenat aman that fit her voice just fine, her name was nazia hussan I think.

Qurbani was all about extravagance, for one of the scenes director, actor feroz khan smashed a brand new mercedes benz into a smitherseen, it was one of those films that showed urban life in a very swanky manner. After the success of dharmatma and apradh, feroz khan tackled a new issue.

Feroz khan's best directed moviehis excellence as a director over the medium came to the fore, his shottaking hsi way of handling emotional scenes were all proof that was indeed inspired by the west.

The most sizzling part of the movie was zeenat aman, she looked amazing although I never her fan, but she was one of those famous stars of the 70's, that were in most movies. She looked sexy, she even wore a bikini was the main reason probably most men went to see the movie. Probably the first movie with little skin show, and people thought urmila started it in Rangeela.

One of the surprise packet of the movie was Amjad khan, If you thought he was best at being gabbar singh, this police inspector khan would be almost a matching performance to gabbar singh. After doing a lot of negative roles he attempted to do something nobody expected from him, comedy and he was so good at people loved him in the movie as the gum chewing inspector.

Feroz khan was usual as himself, I never liked his acting skills, although he did had some hit movies, but I am not a fan of him, but in this movie he was very good.

Anotehr highlight of the movie is shakti kapoor who played a villain for the first time in his career, and does good job of it. Amrish puri was also a part of the bad brigade but he gave a much inferior role in comparison.

The show stealer was noneother then Vinod khanna, who is one of the favorite actors, If you Liked him the movie dayavan, this is a better performance. He has never looked so dashing in any other film. Although I prefered him doing roles like he did in the movie mera gaon mera desh. He really stood out in the movie as a gangster with a golden heart. Qurbani was one of the last films before he quit the industry and join some movement of some sort in usa.

Qurbani was one of the coolest and stylish films from the oldies, cool action, fast paced cars, nice music and shot in england in the middle.
