I had posted a premium ad on quikr a few days back along with some photos. The ad was approved by quikr and it was posted on their site successfully. Then after a few days when I checked my ad, I saw that Quikr has arbitrarily removed all my images from the ad without my permission or any intimation. This is violation of a legal contract. Once the payment is made and my ad is approved you CANNOT change the ad without atleast intimating me.
An ad without images gets a very poor response. I kept on sending them emails regarding the same but nothing was done for 4-5 days. I asked them to Extend the validity of my ad for the number of days for which the ad was posted Without the images.
They have uploaded the images BUT they have not extended the validity of the AD. They have to extend the validity because the premium ad got a very poor response because of THEIR FAULT as they removed all the photos from the AD.
If Quikr does not redress my grievance I will shift to other alternatives. I am also thinking of approaching the consumer forum for violation of the terms of the contract of a premium ad.
