Recently oats have been hyped about by every chef, dietician, oats manufacturing company, food channels and so on. Why are they doing so?!

Well that's because oats are actually really good for your health and contains a lot of fibre needed for the daily diet.

An oat meal contain quite sufficient amount of fiber in them and that is why it is good to eat it for breakfasts( though it won't harm if you take it for lunch or dinner) . That is because fiber takes time to digest and thus this slow digestion doesn't let you feel empty stomach till lunch time( atleast!).

But this particular brand of oats by Pepsico Ltd. didn't hit that sweet spot to lure in the customers to shift from oily and buttery parathans to oats in breakfast. Why you ask! Well the answer is its taste.

Do all the people like'daliya'? Well I would say I don't and so would many other people just like me. The thing is an oat meal is cousin of'daliya'. So if you want the customers to shift to a new taste and trend, what can you do the least? GIVE THEM A BETTER TASTE is what I'd say!

I tried their KESAR FLAVOUR WITH KISHMISH and it tasted horrible. Due to such aggressive marketing, my mom bought it from super market and since it's easy to cook( just add a cup of water and put it in microwave for just 3 min.) I gave it a go. But the outcome was not very sweet or tasty. I could clearly taste the presence of preservatives in it and the kishmish also tasted off. Only 3 spoons in my mouth and I reached my limit of tolerance.

Clearly if you want to serve us a relative of'daliya' it has to be good otherwise the customer won't buy it.

I'd rather have my mom cook me oats in the morning rather than I buy this weird tasting quick-to-prepare oat meal by quaker.

There are 3 other flavors available to this product which are hard to spot at shops and the one I tasted can be found easily( I mean if it tastes like that, you got to get it off the shelf rather than supplying it in abundance!).

All I would recommend is to ask your mom( /spouse) to prepare you one daily and if you live alone, trust me it doesn't need real cooking skills to make your own oat meal in under 15min.
