Qatar Airline can best be rated as a budget airline with extremeley poor customer service concept.
Every single customer who has flown Qatar knows for sure that it is nowhere close to a 5 star airline and skytrax should not be taken as a credible rating agency. Skytrax is misleading the readers by rating an airline so high, where as it deserves to even get simple acts togather.
I flew business class from Jkt to Munich via Doha and on my onwards journey, the flight attended forgot to serve the maincourse. On the return trip, there was a break of 18 hours in Doha and the airline did not give a hotel room, . Despite IATA rules. So, how can an airline breaking IATA rules get a 5 star ratings. Further, I discovered, I was not the only one, even others with 24 hours and 36 hours break were not provided with the hotel room. Here is an airline which spends millions on advt budgets, but when it comes to providing basic services, has no standing at all.
I wrote twice to the CEO of company and he never bothered to sent any response.
If you value your money, do not bother to fly Qatar airlines.
