One would either go for this movie if he or she has seen Takshak, Jhankar Beats, Mumbai Matinee and expects the same kind of performance from Rahul Bose or one can go simply because of Mallika Sherawat. This one will disappoint both kinds of audiences. Rahul Bose's character (Sid) is surprisingly drab and Mallika (Trisha) is a show piece without a brain.

Sid is a DJ, he and his roommate Nanoo (Ranvir Shorey) were hired to play at the marriage reception of Trisha and Vivek (Jas Arora). Sid meets Trisha when she was about to run away from the ceremony. They meet again after six months in Mumbai and slowly develop feelings for each other. Trisha insists for marriage but Sid remains hesitant. Things turn worse when Sid has a face-off with Trisha's father in Delhi. They brake up; Trisha goes back to her ex-fiance Vivek and Sid gets close to Tanya (an item girl of a music video). Sid could not forget Trisha and she also does not stop him when he kisses her in a restaurant. Trisha was about to marry Vivek again when Sid lands up there with help of Trisha's friend Anjali (Suchitra Pillai) and Trisha runs away with him. The story ends and you start cursing yourself for seeing this movie in a multiplex. You might feel that you have wasted your money even if you rent the DVD (when available) for a home viewing.

May be the director Saket Chowdhary wanted Rahul to look confused all the time. He seemed to be very uncomfortable playing the character and never looked convincing. He was no where near Saif of Salam Namaste when he tries to show that he does not like the idea of having kids after marriage. He makes a joke of himself when he pops out of a chest on the day of Trisha's marriage and tells her that he loves her and wants to marry her. I know it's unfair to compare one actor with another, but I simply can't forget Amir Khan's performance in a similar situation in Dil Chahta Hai. Saket failed as a director as he had failed as the writer of Sharukh's Ashoka.

Mallika is different only because she has her cloths on throughout the movie. She has proved yet another time that acting is not her cup of tea. Suchitra Pillai had the most irritating screen presence. May be again it was Saket who wanted her to be like that. This time she does it better than her small act in Dil Chahta Hai. Amir Bashir and Jas Arora didn't have much to do. The only notable performance is from Ranvir Shorey who plays the role of Sid's roommate Nanoo. He has done much better job than what he does in "The Comedy Show" on star one. Music is also quite good. Overall it's NOT a romantic comedy which you can enjoy with your wife or girlfriend and do not feel bad about the money you spent for the multiplex tickets.
